Moore's Law by Nathan Skiles
It's not just the foam rubber pieces that make cuckoo clocks by Nathan Skiles out of the ordinary. Accessorized with the likes of rubber ears, wooden rattlers and matchstick houses, the clocks are densely adorned collages of curiosities. Dreamcatchers, bits of construction fence, power line shoes and wooden teeth help to distort the viewer's perceptions. In an exhibition entitled Black Forest / White Lightning, the over the top cuckoo clocks range from the mysterious to the amusing, but are never mundane.
