Pablo Guardiola seeks out the beauty of poetic language found in everyday objects. The meaning of these objects must be sought within the context, or in the box (caja). Through his photography, Guardiola creates metaphors that give new meaning to familiar images. In this new exhibition, some of the themes that are referenced by the photos are containers (containment), miniatures (marginalization), sound, authority, and politics, among others.
