Kay Bradner captures the reflection of the sky on the water at different times of day, further heightening the luminescence by using aluminum as a canvas. City Beach and Sunset almost become abstracts when the eye takes in the people as patterns. The sheer mass of people in shorts and t-shirts instead of swimsuits seems unusual, and the light cast by the setting sun reflects the slight chill not present earlier. Rowers, on the other hand, enjoy the misty stillness of the early morning.
