Cathy McClure does the unthinkable by skinning motorized stuffies down to the bone. Once the plush toys are relieved of their covering and stuffing, McClure disassembles the remains and casts them in bronze, taking care to re-install the mechanized parts. The reincarnations are creepy steampunked sculptures that can still walk and talk, just not as prettily as pre-op.
