Los Angeles-based illustrator Joe Ledbetter has created a cast of characters that have travelled the world via apparel and lifestyle brands and as vinyl toys. These creatures could have been cute and cuddly, but have been touched by the realities of every day life that affect us all, hence the not so cute and cuddly emotions that run the gamut from anger to fear to all out confusion. Luckily a little humour goes a long way in making these moments more tolerable.
