"Trasheaters" by Amy Stein
In Domesticated, Amy Stein examines man's ever-tenuous relationship with nature. Progress and development impede the movement of natural cycles and patterns - most of the time. Stein's work points out clearly that we must never forget we do not always have the upper hand, despite assuming we do. The work in this series is inspired by real events that have taken place in a small town that borders a forest in Northeast Pennsylvania. Many questions are raised, and at the end of it all we wonder who or what is really wild.
