The Eisberfreistadt project by Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick consists of a series of images created by the artists to depict often overlooked historical events, such as the above-mentioned when an iceberg drifted to Lübeck. The artists use a mix of people in costumes, all sorts of props and models to stage panoramic scenes that appear to be almost imaginary. The resulting images are like storybook scenes out of an old boys' annual or a romantic tale of adventure.
