"Diamond Teapot" by Donald Clark
by sabine7 / July 16, 2009

Teapots take a starring role in a current exhibition at the Ferrin Gallery in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, where they are the focus of pottery, sculpture, painting and photography. The teapot form has gone from functional to conceptual, especially in terms of decorative and applied art. The many interpretations of this iconic domestic object include collages, such as Donald Clark's Diamond teapot, and a found object sculpture, or Artists' teapot, by Michael Boroniec.
