"Play Date" by Lorraine Peltz
Lorraine Peltz continues to work with chandeliers, starbursts and velvety backgrounds, drawing on memories of childhood and mother as a way of understanding identity and place. Peltz's work is a representation of how we absorb and then process information, by juxtaposing elements from different planes. Her new exhibition of paintings is called Then & Now, in reference to mid-century modernism and the Pattern and Decorative movement of the 1970s.
