Solar Powered Night Garden by O*GE Architects
Flowers bloomed at night in Jerusalem's Solar Powered Night Garden by O*GE Architects last month when tulips, lotus flowers and dewdrops opened, closed and changed colour. The larger-than-life flowers were charged by sunlight and later illuminated through energy-saving LEDs at night, accompanied by music composed for the installation. The flowers are made from steel wires with a metal mesh covering, laser-cut panels and Hebron glass spheres with LEDs of 1W-3W on a 24V system.
