Massimo Gardone started his journey through photography in 1982 and since then the flower has always been a protagonist in his work. Companies such as Foscarini, Moroso, Ceramica Viva, Nodus and Aboca have used Gardone's florals in the designs of products such as lamps, tables, ceramics and carpets. Most recently, some of Gardone's video work included the amazing kaleidoscopic Foscarini installation at Superstudio Più. But the simplicity, fine detail and saturated colour of his Blanc flowers, as above, invoke an immediate reaction. Subtly spectacular is the Black and Dark series, an example of which is shown after the jump.
