The At.Aw (any time, anywhere) street art collective is turning the boarded-up windows of a disused Edmonton hotel into an urban regeneration project. The collective invites artists to use the spaces as canvases, albeit without permission. Entitled Post No Bills, Post Pretty Art, the project is an attempt to engage with fellow citizens and encourage healthy artistic expression. At worst, it is an experiment; at best, another space for art and a way to put smiles on faces or thoughts in heads. Shown above is the mosaic panel created by stapling hardware store paint chips into position.
