"Teepee Light" by Kai and Sunny
by sabine7 / February 13, 2009

Kai and Sunny form a multidisciplinary design duo that is currently presenting a show of silkscreened prints in London. What a Wonderful World includes three-colour prints that have a fourth colour hand-painted onto the giclée. As well, there are three 160cm high floor lamps that are made up of silkscreened cotton wrapped around a tepee structure. The delicate patterns and shapes make up starry, sunny outdoor scenes inspired by beat writers like Jack Kerouac and Neal Cassady.
