Carte Blanche Volume 2: Painting
Carte Blanche Volume 2: Painting is the follow-up to the Magenta Foundation's first tome on Canadian photography. This new volume that covers work by two hundred Canadian painters has a foreword by author Jane Urquhart and is edited by Clint Roenisch and David Liss. Designed as a survey of contemporary Canadian painting, Carte Blanche Vol. 2: Painting contains work chosen by a jury that had a difficult time narrowing down the list. The book is divided into three sections: emerging, mid-career and established, all very diverse.
Hardcover, 328 pages. Magenta Publishing for the Arts, 2008. $54.75
