Amy Cushing's kiln-formed glass installations are created from hundreds of glass sections that have been individually handmade, precision drilled and carefully strung. Seeing what appears to be a wall covered in glass candies is entrancing and one can only imagine how much time could go into the contemplation of such a mesmerizing display. The installations are similar to mobiles, but sit flatter against the wall or window, and make a wonderfully refreshing alternative to a canvas.
