Aline Johnson's colourful glass pieces are functional and decorative, ranging from lighting, tableware and architectural glass. Johnson's fused glass platters are like giant pieces of ribbon candy, but what really spoke to us were the pieces we saw in London this past fall: the Featherlight lamp and the Leaf Canopy pendant. This lighting is made up of a variety of kiln-worked, sandblasted glass leaves and feathers that creates a teasing effect.
