Ojingogo by Montrealer Matthew Forsythe is a graphic novel about a plucky little girl named Voguchi and her squid sidekick, Ojingogo. The fable is inspired by Forsythe's sojourn in Korea, the Korean Hangul script (although there is very little dialogue), a photographer friend of his, and the ubiquitous Korean squid. The result is a dreamscape of an adventure as the heroes journey under the sea and into the sky.
