Lisa Breslow has used painterly skill to imbue her NYC Landscapes with an unexpected gentleness not usually found in urban cityscapes. The play of light and tone brings about a serenity and a sense of mood that linger long after the taxicabs have sped away. It seems as though the artist has played with time and space, but the viewer eventually accepts that this is now and perhaps a message to slow down...Maybe even consider stopping at a red light and taking it all in.
