The work of London-based Dan Perfect can be described as what one's mind could possibly look like at various times and during different moods. The many elements that make up Perfect's compositions are combined in such a way that they seem to be in motion: floating, climbing, racing or spinning out of control. What prevents this from turning into chaos is the space given to each element. They do not blur into a mess on the canvas, but work together as cogs. There is an air of refined street about these paintings and a glorious use of colour.
