The Meadowlands is a 32-square mile marshland between New Jersey and New York that Joshua Lutz has been photographing for the past ten years (while supposedly searching for Jimmy Hoffa). The resulting series is a compelling group of short stories that take us further into the landscape and the people on its periphery. The subjects range from a Renaissance princess to a to scrap heaps to a corpse face down in the water. And yet there are also depictions of the sunlight golden on a house or a crop of peppers.
