Over and Over: A Catalog of Hand-Drawn Patterns by Michael Perry is a compendium of over 250 hand-drawn patterns by more than 50 artists. Although there might be some digital involvement, it is easy to see how these illustrations could come about through doodles, drawings and repetition. There is such a variety of colour, form, shape and narrative within the pages of this book that is a delight for any artist or graphic designer looking for inspiration. So many different styles are represented here, from retro-kitsch to street influences that this thick book of eye candy is a real pleasure to curl up with.
