Amanda Reeves' website may be under construction, but the need for it just became very important. Reeves was named one of the two honourable mentions in the Tenth Annual RBC Painting Competition two weeks ago in Ottawa for her untitled entry shown above. (We were caught peering into it by none other than Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, who also found it to her liking.) After the jump, from this series, are two more paintings that draw the eye deep into the colour field that is scattered with a variety of pleasing dots. We would have loved to have had all three together...
