Thank goodness Adam Wallacavage keeps doing what he does best. Wow. Wallacavage has a new collection of octopus chandeliers, each one more voluptuous, more ornate, more exquisite than the last. Described as “biomorphically baroque” Les Trésors de la Tanière de Neptune (French for: The Treasures of Neptune’s Lair) is a site-specific installation of functioning light fixtures surrounded by custom wallpaper (kelp!) also designed by the artist. Wallacavage uses ornamental plastering techniques for this sea of incredible pieces.
