"Demikhow and Cornell's Hands of Glory"
Jen Merrill uses a scalpel to carve out hand-painted, three-dimensional depictions of anatomically inspired pieces. Merrill combines colour, linen thread and paper to add fluidity to work that can seem too scientific at first glance. This graphic method of showing characters express various emotions or communicate with each other is actually surprisingly easy to follow, thanks to the lines and waves that flow from different sources.
