"Le Fruit Rouge"
by sabine7 / June 13, 2008
Arnold Goron’s painted clay sculptures are abstract shapes that often incorporate pipe-like forms that twist and connect. The effect is akin to that of a linked puzzle; each angle presents a different perspective. Sometimes the pieces are evocative, somehow, of body parts, sometimes simple hardware or household objects, or strange symbols from another place. Combining several pieces would make a fantastic installation, especially on a white gallery wall.
