Tom Haubrick’s recent work is part of an exhibition called Color Blind, a study in black and white, with a few lively accents. Many of Haubrick’s ink drawings are quite small, and this, coupled with the sepia tones, makes for a piece of art that feels more intimate, almost a small treasure. Each of these pieces evokes a different mood: the innocence of the fellow blinded by clothing in the wind; the expectancy of young woman who hopes for a kiss goodnight; the raging pain of the guy with the headache.
