A Week in 1953 is a series of embroidery panels by Terra LaChance that depict a typical week in the life of an imaginary housewife named Marge. Marge leads a life where she is always impeccably dressed, coiffed and manicured (being childless), and her “smokin’ hand” gives away her attitude. Each day is divided into two panels that combine the embroidery with fabrics that reference the lifestyle and décor of a bygone era. And, yes, wouldn’t it be great to have the whole set!
