Knitted sneakers by Nina Braun are a marriage of urban attitude and old-fashioned comfort. These cosy soft sculptures of wool and felt are only one of the many categories covered by this artist who was behind the first and only female owned and operated business in the German board scene. But don’t be fooled by the seemingly domestic nature of this work. Braun is adept in painting, animation and welding, along with tapestry work, puppet-making and appliquéd wool posters.
