"Purple Onion"
by sabine7 / December 11, 2007
Tim Chumley got his first camera when he was six years old. Thousands of photos later he is able to hook us with his shots of fruits and flowers. The simplicity of a slice of purple onion is almost floral, and some of his other shots evoke the work of Georgia O'Keefe. His colours are strong where they need to be bold and faint when there should be only a hint.
