Sticker City: Paper Graffiti Art by Claudia Walde is a compendium of over 7000 examples of sticker art by more than 80 artists. The author, who combined life as a communications student with that of a graffiti artist by the name of Mad C, presents a survey of the sticker sub-culture of street art. She looks at the history of stickering, or plastering handmade posters or stickers to public spaces, with examples by greats like Shepard Fairey and Blek le Rat, and goes around the world to explore the range of work and technique that makes this contemporary adhesive art form so pleasingly sly.
