What is so captivating about Leigh Glover’s landscapes is that this London painter makes it appear so effortless. The lively contrast of colours in his outdoor scenes draws the viewer into the layers and one feels as though the trees are there to slip behind, especially in the seasonal views of Holland Park. The distance of the peak in the View from Grizedale Pike reduces the accessibility, but the colours and textures more than make up for this. Leigh Glover is currently receiving accolades for his portraiture, but his landscapes must not go unnoticed.
