"Still 17 (Wishing Well)"

Rocky McCorkle’s upcoming exhibition, You and Me on a Sunny Day, studies the quiet life of an elderly couple, but infuses it with energy by using bright colours, a large format camera and a focused lens. The usual drab beige grey life associated with an “invisible” demographic comes alive in McCorkle’s work. He has presented his characters in a series of photos that are like stills from a movie where we can stop the action and take a good long look at the contents.
