Australian artist Chris O’Doherty, also known as Reg Mombassa, has also led the musician’s life, in bands such as Mental As Anything and Dog Trumpet, as well as working as a commercial artist for clothing and graphics company, Mambo. O’Doherty’s style mixes up a light surrealist tone with pop illustration and out favorites include the softer, more secular of the lot. Nothing quite like a gently violet kangaroo or a peaceful egg on the horizon.
