Barbara Gallucci’s photos of not-so-modern prefab takes us back to a time when the do-it-yourselfer could go out and buy an A-Frame kit for $3000. Although used primarily as cottages, some of these A-Frames eventually took on commercial uses. Gallucci also has a series of photos depicting the interiors of a 1950 ranch house that came with a television built into a wall. Once the set finally broke the owners had to find new uses for the gap left behind. Gallucci’s projects allow us to follow the ever-evolving responses to vestiges of earlier suburbia.
