Scott Waterman’s mixture of doodles, text and amazing forms gives rise to the notion of sci-fi watercolour. Waterman’s watercolours (how perfect is the artist’s name?) expose a pop art sensibility, adorned with circles, spirals and florals. Wonderful palettes mix brights and bolds with subtlety, and the pieces seem almost animated. These exuberant works give off a feeling of a constant fireworks display.
