Kelli Connell creates narrative-driven photographs that tell the tale of a relationship as it progresses. Or do they? Connell uses one single woman in all the photos that make up the Double Life series, and manipulates the images to create an album of scenes from relationships between two people. It may look as though it is a partnership of two women, but Connell explores gender, self and identity through the staged scenarios that present masculine and feminine aspects of our roles.
