Again we look at a collection of photographs by Denis Darzacq that is a reflection of people and their surroundings and interaction. The photographer focused on the people, their movements and their clothing, and studied the physical distance between them as they occupied, or passed through, a space. Social codes and conventions are all part of the daily dance we do as we go about our business. But then … if you choose to squint a little and simply look upon these pictures as pattern … a different type of code perhaps.
