Book of Longing by songster and poet Leonard Cohen contains many illustrations by Cohen as well, line drawings and sketches that complement the poems that are the meat and potatoes of the book. The illustrations are the accompaniment, but as Cohen’s artwork is gaining in notoriety (and is currently on exhibit in Toronto), this volume presents a nice offering of a real mixture of his work.
