Jennifer Davis has a new show coming up with plenty of ani-girl mutations, as well as the contrast of signature poetic pieces that convey a sense of serenity and pensiveness. The guitar-playing monkey chick, however, is just as serious as the day-tripping girl in the rowboat. Davis continues to work in muted tones, combining collage with acrylic and graphite, trees and blossoms abound. Out On A Limb is the title of the new show, which opens June 2 and runs through July 22 at Gallery 360 in Minneapolis.
