True Loving by photographer Jordi Bernadó is another ‘road’ book based on a great idea: US destinations with suggestive names. Although, if truth be told, these are destinations that travel guides just pass on by. But Bernadó lets his imagination be captured by places like Paradise, Utopia and Eden and ferrets out their narratives with his camera. He is a place name explorer who thrives on the promises made by towns called Happy, and in return works his camera magic with humour to bring forgotten histories to the surface. By the way, True is the name of one town in Texas, Loving is the one beside it.
