Stripes of every colour, but much more than a rainbow. Tim Bavington’s work is gorgeous, lush and makes us feel greedy. At first it seemed like more lifesavers than we could ever hope to eat, but then when we saw the work likened to some serious frivolous cocktails, the attraction made even more sense. Many of Bavington’s titles are song references and there is so much movement in his paintings that it isn’t difficult to liken these rhythms to music. So, cocktails and music – Bavington’s glorious work is better than a great night out.
