Keegan Wenkman is another Minneapolis artist whose work spans a variety of media which is very hard to choose from, there are so many great pieces to see. Particularly noteworthy are the illustrations and the reason for this has got to be this artist’s use of sepia and red ink. These two colours soften pieces that would have been very hard-edged otherwise, sharp and snappy as they are. Wenkman’s illustrations are a series of headshots of characters that don’t give much away, while captions in curlicued script reveal just a little bit more.
