Jane Callister’s paintings are acrylic dripped with care onto canvas. Sure it sounds easy enough, but the layers of mouth watering colour and the forms achieved through this process are compositions that take a fair bit of construction and preparation. At the same time there is such spontaneity about the work that it comes across as refreshing and uncontrived. So tasty that it falls easily into the eye candy category.
