The Creative Habit
While this is not strictly a book pertaining to MoCo art as such, one can never discount the value of stimulating creativity. Twyla Tharp, one of the most important choreographers of our time, challenges the evil creative block and discusses her own ways of wringing the most out of herself as well as showing examples culled from other creative types from a variety of disciplines. A good read that makes you want to put down the book and DO something.
Paperback 265 pages, Simon & Schuster 2005, $10.20 at Amazon.
