Mixed Media | Sep 6, 2006

Scott Wade’s medium is reasonably easy to come by, but the trouble is that the dirt he draws in is often tampered with by the elements. While we might be content to write ‘Wash Me’ with our fingers, Wade creates art in the dust that accumulates on the rear windows of his cars. The temporary drawings change when Wade drives down his dirt road and more dust layers on top. Drops of rain or dew further embellish the pictures, many of which are often easily recognizable copies of great works by other artists.
