Michael Pfisterer’s architectural photography of unpeopled roller coasters is so exciting in colour and form alone that seeing it feels like a wild ride. The negative space in these digital prints is so bright and clear that it would seem an unlikely place for fear to lurk, but it is precisely due to the starkness of the prints that riding Pfisterer’s roller coasters would have to be at light speed. The only scream you hear is your own.
