Charles Linder is a San Francisco artist who uses predominantly found objects in his sculptural work and installations. His series of lamps built from farm materials and powder-coated in strong colours is bold, both visually and intellectually, given that they are riddled with practical bullet holes that allow that light to pass through. Another one of Linder’s collections is a series of road signs re-interpreted, also bearing the laciness of the bullet hole effect.
