Jan von Holleben’s style of photography is pure fun. His new series, Dreams of Flying, is a joy to look at. Von Holleben has staged his shots by setting a scene on the carefully prepared ground and then having his subjects lie in the appropriate spots while making the right gestures. Complicated? Nope. High tech? Neither. But the simplicity and can-do attitude around these ‘action’ shots sure works for me.
