Artist and musician Mark Kostabi is an advice columnist for artists, has a cable tv show called Name That Painting and divides his time between life in New York and Rome. The subject of books, Kostabi has a few cd releases under his belt, as well as a new exhibition under way at Adam Baumgold. But what of his paintings? Does it matter that he hung with Warhol and Basquiat? That he is a whiz at self-promotion? Let the work speak for itself.
