Subterranean Death Clash is the new exhibition of almost forty works by Camille Rose Garcia, an LA artist much formed by a generic suburban upbringing and disenchanted youth. The series is based on a premise where people are forced to take to underground caverns due to the overdevelopment and overpopulation of the world. When General Disorder leads his troops, armed with bottles of poison, through the many underworlds, the final battle against cave swans and their ilk results in the Subterranean Death Clash. Garcia paints an eerie picture of a population hellbent on digging its own grave.
